Material Stager
Basic Function: Responsible for organizing work orders for Fiber area to include paperwork, materials, and labels are accounted for before the job goes into the Fiber area in a timely manner.
Significant Responsibilities:
Performs specific job responsibilities:
- Read the Bill of Materials and ensure all material associated with the work order is accounted for
- Works closely with Inventory and Components for proper kits and assemblies required for upcoming jobs
- Uses label printer to create labels for each order and ensures they are accurate
- Handles some prep work including dressing copper fibers

Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. 6 months related experience and/or training preferred.
Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge: Basic understanding of computers including Microsoft Office products. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral. Able to read assembly drawings and Bill of Material. Must possess initiative. Able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Able to organize tasks and manage time. Ability to read and follow basic instructions, ability to understand and implement quality procedures. Good math and handwriting skills are required and the ability to correctly complete all paperwork. Knowledge of the cable connectivity business is a plus.
Working Conditions: While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and must be reasonably ambulatory. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. This job requires vision sufficient for completing quality work, reading comprehension, and computer use. This work also requires hearing sufficient for normal workplace conversation and training. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
