MIL-DTL-38999 Connectors combined with M29504/4 Pins and M29504/5 Sockets to enable multi-channel fiber optic connectivity. For many years these connector systems provided fiber optic connectivity solutions for fixed network applications in military platforms. During early implementation of fiber optic large multimode core sizes were initially used as a light wave guide between source and receivers.
