Cybersecurity Compliance Overview
At OCC, we take our obligation for compliance with NIST SP 800-171 R2 requirements for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Controlled Technical Information (CTI) and Covered Defense Information (CDI) very seriously. OCC has partnered with PreVeil Systems, a leader in information security to implement a secure enclave that fully protects all CUI data.
Marking of CUI is Required
Protecting the various types of data that comprise any or all of the above types of defense information is of paramount importance to us. Accordingly, if your request for quote or contract award includes any of these type of documents, we ask that you please clearly identify each document as such per DoDI 5200.48.
Approved Methods for Transmitting CUI
Provide CUI documents to us by only using these secure methods:
- Via a secure web portal such as Exostar
- Via a secure email to OCC at cui@secure.occfiber.com. Please note that this email address supersedes the address that we previously used (cui@occmilspec.com).
Please DO NOT send any type of CUI documents to our corporate email addresses such as username@occfiber.com.
